A joint operation between the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) at the Calgary International Airport led to a significant drug seizure on August 7, 2025.

Authorities confiscated approximately 4.5 kilograms of cannabis, 5.2 grams of fentanyl, and 2.1 grams of cocaine, along with associated drug paraphernalia. As a result, a 46-year-old woman from Stavely, Alberta, has been charged with multiple offenses related to drug possession and trafficking, highlighting the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat illicit substance trade.
