Ethiopia and Nigeria Forge Partnership to Develop Drones for Civilian&Military app

Ethiopia and Nigeria are collaborating to develop a fleet of African-made drones intended for both civilian and military applications.

Ethiopian officials recently presented their aircraft facilities to the Nigerian Air Force, and Nigeria is expected to welcome Ethiopian representatives to its training centers soon.

This partnership arises in response to recommendations from the Africa Chiefs of Defense Conference advocating for a robust local defense industry.

By integrating Ethiopia's SkyWin Aeronautics Industries with Nigeria's expertise in drone technology, the initiative aims to reduce dependence on imports from countries such as China, Iran, and Turkey.
