"The City of Calgary under Mayor Jyothi Gondek is proud to extend its warmest congratulations to the Trinity Lodge community as it marks a remarkable milestone of five decades of dedicated care, connection, and impact in our city. For 50 years, Trinity Lodge has been a beacon of support for older adults and their families, providing consistent and compassionate services that have improved countless lives.

The continuity and trust established by the team members, many of whom have dedicated numerous years to serving the community, are a testament to the organization's commitment to delivering exceptional care. Special recognition is due to Iris, who has selflessly provided care for an impressive 40 years, and General Manager Kim, who has been instrumental in shaping the organization's vision since 1998.

As someone who has had the privilege of being involved with Trinity Lodge as a companion for the past 20 years, I have witnessed firsthand the evolving needs of older adults and the importance of compassion, patience, and community support. This experience has underscored the significance of promoting environments where older adults are respected, included, and valued.

As one of Calgary's longest-standing retirement communities, Trinity Lodge, in partnership with United in Aging, has left an indelible mark on the lives of thousands of individuals. Here's to many more years of dedicated service and community impact. May this milestone mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Trinity Lodge, as it continues to inspire and enrich the lives of Calgary's older adults."
