The Super Eagles' victory was fueled by a stellar performance from Alex Oyowah, who was deservedly awarded Player of the Match. Anas Yusuf broke the deadlock in the 56th minute, and Sikiru Alimi sealed the win with a stoppage-time goal in the 90+3' minute.
