The patient, a transvestite, passed away two days after being admitted to the hospital because she was too fragile for surgery.

An autopsy showed that an egg-sized tumour had developed in his bladder where the eyeliner had penetrated.

Physicians surmise that the patient's body overreacted to a renal infection.

The case, which was reported in a medical journal, states that the patient, who remained anonymous, experienced sporadic attacks of stomach pain for three years.
