🔹 Position: Project Manager (Health IT) – 1-Year Contract 📍 Location: Nova Scotia (Hybrid – Preference for Local Candidates) ⏳ Term: 1-Year Contract (Starting Late July/August) Are you an experienced Project Manager eager to enhance healthcare delivery using technology? We have an exciting 1-year contract opportunity for you to spearhead significant health IT projects across various locations. If you're looking to make a tangible impact on public health systems, we want to connect with you! 🔍 Key Responsibilities: - Lead the planning, execution, and completion of health-related technical projects. - Collaborate with clinicians, healthcare providers, and stakeholders throughout Nova Scotia.
- Manage project documentation, including charters, roadmaps, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
- Supervise a cross-functional team, consisting of 5 direct reports including move coordinators and technical analysts. - Ensure adherence to provincial health standards and public sector regulations. - Facilitate change management and clinic modernization initiatives. ✅ Qualifications: - Over 5 years of experience overseeing complex technical projects. - At least 4 years in the provincial public service sector. - A minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare. - Bachelor's degree or higher. - Proven experience leading large-scale health information system projects. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across technical and clinical teams. - Track record of delivering projects on time and within scope
