Among these recruits were individuals from Wheatland County and Banff Municipal Enforcement, who will now be serving and protecting the community alongside the 14 Calgary Transit Peace Officers and 13 Community Safety Peace Officers who also graduated. The city expressed pride in the new officers' readiness to serve with professionalism, dedication, and care. It is not specified how the two external officers from Wheatland and Banff will be divided between their respective jurisdictions. Additionally, the Calgary Police Service (CPS) reported the graduation of 23 new officers from Class 263, with a notable 63% having completed post-secondary studies and 21% being bilingual or multilingual.
