The 6th Foreign office consultation between Fiji and India has taken place at Ro Lalabalavu House in Suva, aimed at enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries. Fijian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Hon. Biman Prasad, hosted the Indian delegation, which included Dr. Neena Malhotra, Secretary (South) of India's Ministry of External Affairs, and Ms. Pramita Tripathi, Joint Secretary (Oceania). The discussion emphasized several key collaboration areas, with a significant focus on the proposed 100-bed Super Speciality Cardiology Hospital in the Fijian capital. The project is moving forward, as Professor Prasad confirmed that the necessary land has been allocated and preparatory work is underway.
