**URGENT APPEAL FOR ASSISTANCE**

URGENT - MISSING PERSON ALERT

The Shediac RCMP is urging the public to assist in locating 34-year-old Luc Bourgeois, who disappeared while kayaking off the Shediac Coast on July 24, 2025. Luc was last seen between 1 and 2 p.m. near the wharf in Pointe-du-Chêne, N.B., and has failed to return.

IDENTIFYING FEATURES:

Height: 5'6" (167 cm)
Weight: 170 lbs (77 kg)
Hair: Long, curly brown
Beard: Brown
Eyes: Brown
Last seen wearing: Black shorts, blue and gray lifejacket, Bass Pro Shops hat, sunglasses, and black Under Armour sandals

A multi-agency search effort is underway, involving the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, Search and Rescue helicopter, Ground Search and Rescue, and the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team.

Luc's family and authorities are gravely concerned for his safety.
