The relentless rainfall pounding South Korea for the third day in a row has claimed at least 4 lives and left 2 people missing. The cities of Osan, South Chungcheong, and Gwangju have been the hardest hit, with victims succumbing to flooding in cars, basements, and even a wall collapse.

Over 3,200 people have taken shelter, down from the initial 5,000+ who were evacuated. Gwangju, in particular, has seen a record-breaking 400+ mm of rain, the worst in 86 years! ⚠️
