Some hours ago, Calgary firefighters, EMS, and CPS worked together seamlessly to rescue a trapped police officer from his cruiser after a serious collision on Crowchild Trail. The officer, responding to an emergency with lights and sirens activated, was struck and rolled onto its side at 24 Ave NW. Thanks to rapid teamwork, all three individuals involved were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
