The Super Falcons of Nigeria have put in a commanding performance in the first half of their pre-WAFCON friendly, taking a 3-1 lead over Ghana. An unfortunate own goal gave the Nigerian team the early advantage, which was then compounded by a coolly converted penalty from Asisat Oshoala.

Oshoala's strike from the spot showcased her composure and skill, as she sent the Ghanaian goalkeeper the wrong way. The first half saw Nigeria dominate possession and create more scoring opportunities, leaving Ghana chasing the game.

Both sides will be looking to make tactical adjustments and bring on fresh legs in the second half, but the Black Queens face an uphill battle to get back into the match.
