The Neepawa RCMP is currently looking into a home invasion that occurred on a rural property in the RM of Glenella-Lansdowne. The incident took place on June 19, 2025, around 1:05 am. Two masked suspects forcibly entered the home and confronted the owner, who was armed. Upon being confronted, the suspects fled the scene and fired a gun at the house, resulting in minor damage but no injuries.

The suspects are believed to have left the area in a GMC pickup truck with a white hood, white roof, and dark sides, heading east on Provincial Road 261. The home's video surveillance captured their images.

The RCMP has not yet identified a motive for the crime, but it is being treated as a random incident. Residents in the area are advised to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 911.
