An investigation into a suspicious death that took place yesterday

Our Homicide Unit is currently conducting an investigation into a suspicious death that took place yesterday in the Pineridge community.

📍 At approximately 3:50 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2025, officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of Rundlehorn Drive N.E. in response to reports of an assault. Upon their arrival, officers found a man in a state of medical distress. He was subsequently transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The circumstances surrounding the man's death are still under investigation. At this time, there is no threat to public safety.

Additional information will be provided following the completion of an autopsy, which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Investigators are seeking to speak with anyone who may possess information regarding the assault that could assist in furthering the investigation.
