Today, Jeff Pope APM, the Acting Electoral Commissioner of @auselectoralcom, presented the writs for the recent federal election to the Governor-General at Government House in Canberra.

The writs, which serve as a formal directive to hold the election, were initially issued on March 31. Today's submission signifies the conclusion of the electoral process, setting the stage for the opening of Australia's 48th Parliament on July 22.
