Dangote Fertiliser Ltd stands as Africa's largest fertilizer plant and ranks second globally.

Founded by Aliko Dangote, this facility spans 500 hectares within the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos, Nigeria, and was established at an investment of $2.5 billion. The Dangote Fertiliser Plant aims to produce 3 million metric tons of urea fertilizer annually at full capacity.

Since its operations began in March 2022, the plant has initiated exports to significant agricultural markets, including Brazil, India, the United States, and Mexico. With a projected daily output of 16,000 tons, the Dangote Fertilizer Plant anticipates generating up to $7 million daily from fertilizer exports within the next two years. Nigeria 🇳🇬 continues to
