This yesterday evening, Governor Seyi Makinde and his team attended the inauguration of Bankyloolas Mobile and Pasta Pan in Oluyole, Ibadan.

During my speech, I emphasized the importance of the entrepreneurial spirit that underpins the brand, highlighting it as one of the three essential elements (alongside education and intensive production) necessary for driving economic growth in Nigeria at this time. I also urged them to adopt a global perspective rather than limiting themselves to local or national considerations, citing Nandos, which has its roots in South Africa, as an example.

As someone who embarked on my entrepreneurial journey at the age of 29, witnessing young individuals establish businesses across various sectors of the economy fills me with immense joy and motivates me to work even harder as a government to ensure their success.
