The oath-taking ceremony saw the elevation of 19 Prosecution Attorneys (PAs) to the rank of Prosecutor, 74 prosecutors receiving promotions, and the appointment of 61 new prosecutors, including Regional Prosecutor Louie Doligosa of Region VI. This initiative is aligned with the current administration's goal of providing Real Justice for All in Real Time and striving for a "zero backlog policy" in the handling of cases within the DOJ.

The event was graced by high-profile DOJ officials such as Undersecretary Fredderick A. Vida, Assistant Secretary Majken Anika S. Gran-Ong, Prosecutor General Richard Anthony D. Fadullon, and Regional Prosecutor Rommel Baligod of Region II. Each of them delivered speeches emphasizing the crucial role of prosecutors in the administration of criminal justice.

In his keynote address, Secretary Remulla highlighted the importance of the prosecutors' function in society and challenged them to be agents of change in upholding the rule of law. He expressed his confidence in their abilities and encouraged them to work tirelessly to ensure that justice is served swiftly and fairly to all.

To further integrate the new and promoted prosecutors into the DOJ's operations, the NPS Special Projects Division (SPD) and the DOJ Personnel Division conducted video presentations on the Comprehensive Prosecutors' Assimilation (COMPASS) program and the department's Human Resources System. These presentations aimed to provide the necessary information and guidance on the work processes and procedures within the DOJ.

Undersecretary Vida concluded the event with closing remarks, reaffirming the DOJ's commitment to fostering a capable and dedicated team of prosecutors to serve the nation. The oath-taking ceremony not only signifies the expansion of the NPS's capabilities but also reinvigorates the pursuit of justice in the Philippines.

This press release underscores the DOJ's efforts to bolster the country's legal system, ensuring that it remains responsive and effective in delivering justice to the people.
