Jude Okoye and his company, Northside Music Ltd., are facing a four-count charge of alleged stealing totaling $1 million and £34,537. Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, testified that his brother's wife, Ifeoma, owned 80% of Northside Music, while Jude had the remaining 20%. He claimed that the company had been illegally operating two years prior to P-Square's split and that Jude was the sole manager of the company's accounts. Peter also stated that he and his twin brother, Paul, were unaware of the company's existence and had not received any royalties during the period of its operation. The prosecution presented a petition dated January 22, 2024, which Peter Okoye had submitted to the EFCC regarding the matter.
The case involves allegations of mismanagement and fraud concerning the group's earnings and intellectual property rights.
