Reports that a bar manager named Ankit DRALL has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of unlawful confinement.

The incidents occurred at the Fire N Ice bar located at 854 16 Ave. S.W. in January and April of 2025, involving two different victims. One was a potential employee who was inappropriately touched during a job interview, and the other was a current employee who was sexually assaulted outside of work hours. The victims reported the incidents to the Calgary Police Service, which led to the charges. The police are commending the victims for their courage and emphasizing the importance of reporting sexual assault regardless of when it occurred, as there is no time limit in Canada. DRALL is set to appear in court on July 4, 2025. The Calgary Police Service is also encouraging anyone with information or who may have experienced similar incidents to come forward.
