The Special Adviser to the Governor on CBD, Bola Olumegbon-Lawal, announced this during a press briefing commemorating the second anniversary of Sanwo-Olu's second term in office. The new CBD aims to enhance the state's infrastructure and economy through effective traffic management, environmental sanitation, and curbing illegal street trading. The initiative involves collaboration with agencies such as LAWMA and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps to ensure compliance with safety and orderliness standards. The focus on improving the aesthetics of business districts like Lagos Island and Ikeja also forms part of the CBD's strategic objectives. Olumegbon-Lawal called for stakeholder support and compliance with regulations to achieve the desired outcomes.
