Traditional rulers present include the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa'ad Abubakar, the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Bamalli, the Etsu Nupe, the Emir of Zamfara, and Emirs from Bauchi, Katsina, Ilorin, and Keffi, among others. The meeting will be chaired by Inuwa Yahaya, the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum and Gombe State Governor, with Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State giving the welcome address as the chief host.
