Outstanding efforts by our Federal Policing Eastern Region team in dismantling this illicit laboratory and confiscating a substantial quantity of suspected methamphetamine pills.

Currently, we are in the process of dismantling a clandestine laboratory located in Bromont, Estrie. During an operation that commenced on Tuesday, law enforcement uncovered a facility producing suspected methamphetamine pills within a warehouse, leading to the arrest of three individuals. Approximately 2.5 million suspected methamphetamine pills, over 4 kg of suspected crystal meth, and significant amounts of chemicals and excipients were seized. Additionally, searches revealed a pill press, advanced equipment for the synthesis and mass production of suspected methamphetamine, along with $3,600 in cash. This successful operation highlights the relentless dedication of our law enforcement agencies in fighting against the production and distribution of illegal drugs. The closure of this laboratory will certainly disrupt the supply chain of these hazardous substances and contribute to the safety of our communities. We remain committed to identifying and prosecuting those involved in organized crime, ensuring accountability for their actions.
