In light of the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan, Google Maps has reportedly stopped displaying routes connecting the two countries.

Although Lahore is situated less than 50 km from Amritsar, the platform currently shows no directions or connectivity between them. This restriction coincides with heightened violence, including missile strikes, drone assaults, and intense cross-border firing.
Major cities such as Islamabad, Peshawar, and Muzaffarabad are facing significant challenges, and as Indian forces carry out coordinated actions, access to digital services across the region is becoming increasingly limited.
