Authorities in White Rock, British Columbia, are seeking to identify a man believed to have assaulted two elderly individuals last month.

According to the White Rock RCMP, an unidentified man exited an SUV at the intersection of North Bluff Road and Johnston Street on April 11 at approximately 4:15 p.m. and attacked two elderly pedestrians who were crossing at a designated crosswalk. The assault was severe enough to require hospitalization for one of the victims due to head lacerations. The suspect is described as being between 45 and 50 years of age, standing 5'10" tall with a stocky build, and was dressed in a light-colored shirt and grey trousers. Law enforcement has made available two images captured from CCTV footage of the incident.
