Jyoti Gondenk and others are excited to share that they have made significant progress on the Rocky Ridge Athletic Park, a new facility aimed at helping Calgarians enhance their skills, build their teams, and support one another. This park is an integral part of the City's broader initiative to create additional high-quality fields and recreational areas throughout Calgary. Feedback from families, sports teams, schools, and community organizations has highlighted the need for more gathering and play spaces, and we are committed to addressing this need. Featuring two competition-sized artificial turf fields, lighting, restrooms, and accessible parking, this facility will serve as a central location for activities ranging from community soccer games to competitive team training.

The Rocky Ridge Athletic Park is designed to be a hub for community engagement, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all ages and abilities. Additionally, we have prioritized accessibility, with features like wheelchair-accessible pathways and seating areas that ensure everyone can fully participate and enjoy the facility.
