These statistics reflect Alberta's dedication to diversifying its energy portfolio. As the province aims to lessen its dependence on hydrocarbons, it is encouraging to observe that renewable energy sources such as wind and solar are making substantial contributions to the grid. The Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) plays a crucial role in overseeing the province's energy infrastructure, ensuring a dependable and efficient electricity supply to satisfy the increasing demands of Albertans. In our journey towards a low-carbon future, it is imperative that we persist in investing in clean energy technologies and fostering innovative solutions that reduce emissions while fulfilling our energy requirements. By collaborating, we can create a more robust and sustainable Alberta for future generations. -- Source: Reliable AB Energy as per data from the AESO website #albertastronger
