President Tinubu has sanctioned N787.14 billion and $651.7 million for a series of road projects across 13 states, as approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, provided key updates on the initiatives:
— Ondo-Ekiti: The dualization of the 15km Akure-Ekiti road has been revised to N19.4 billion.
— Sokoto-Zamfara-Katsina-Kaduna: The original 375km dual carriageway plan has been adjusted to 82.4km, including six bridges, with a budget of N105 billion remaining unchanged.
— Borno: A contract for the 30km section of the 105-km Maiduguri-Monguno road has been awarded for N21 billion, with additional phases anticipated.
— Ebonyi: Approval has been granted for a N25 billion flyover at Abakaliki-Afikpo.
— Ogun: Projects for the Ikoga and Atan-Alapoti-Ado-Odo roads are allocated N37 billion.
— Enugu-Onitsha: The redesign for the 77km route, partially funded by MTN, has a budget of N150 billion.
— Southwest: The final 96km of the Benin-Shagamu-Ore road is set at N187 billion.
— Lekki Corridor: A 50km 7th Axial Road, which includes 5km of bridges, is funded by $651.7 million from China Exim Bank, improving access to the Lekki Deep Seaport and Dangote facilities. — Additional Projects: Other notable projects include the Aba-Ikot-Ekpene road (N30.2 billion), shoreline protection at Ebute-Ero and Outer Marina (N176.5 billion), and the initial phase of the Cham-Numan road refurbishment (N9.3 billion). These initiatives, which combine public-private partnerships and international financing, are set to enhance Nigeria's infrastructure landscape significantly.
