A 24-year-old man was discovered with a significant amount of money during a search conducted by the RCMP.

On April 29, 2025, at approximately 2:00 PM, the Manitoba RCMP Roving Traffic Unit executed a traffic stop on Highway 16 within the Rural Municipality of Minto-Odanah. The driver, a 24-year-old male from Stony Plain, Alberta, was found to be in breach of the Highway Traffic Act. A search of the vehicle revealed a significant quantity of Canadian currency, resulting in the seizure of the vehicle. The driver was arrested but has since been released, with a court appearance scheduled for a later date. The Manitoba RCMP Traffic Unit is continuing its investigation into this incident.
