The state Commissioner for Information, Dr. Bala Salisu-Zango, announced during a press briefing on Wednesday that President Bola Tinubu will undertake a one-day working visit to Katsina State this Friday. This marks the President's first visit to the state since taking office in 2023.

During his visit, Tinubu is expected to inaugurate two prominent projects initiated by the administration of Governor Dikko Radda. The projects set for inauguration include the Eastern Bypass, which runs from Dutsin-ma Road, passing through Kano and Daura Roads, and culminating at Yandaki in the Kaita Local Government Area. Additionally, the President will unveil the state Agricultural Mechanisation Centre. Dr. Salisu-Zango emphasized that this visit will also provide an opportunity to discuss pressing issues, particularly insecurity, with the President. He encouraged the residents of Katsina to turn out in large numbers to welcome Mr. President and to maintain order during his visit. (NAN)
