Live Updates on the Pahalgam Terror Attack: A team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrived at Baisaran valley today to recreate the crime scene where 26 individuals were brutally killed during a terrorist attack on April 22, according to officials. In response to the Pahalgam attack, a series of meetings took place in the national capital as India prepares to retaliate against Pakistan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a meeting with the tri-services chiefs, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and the National Security Advisor at his residence. During the meeting, the Prime Minister empowered the military to determine the timing and targets for retaliation. Today, PM Modi also chaired a Cabinet Committee on Security meeting, marking the second since the Pahalgam incident, followed by a session of the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs and a Cabinet meeting. On Tuesday night, Pakistan violated the ceasefire for the sixth consecutive night, prompting a rapid response from the Indian Army.
