I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Nigerian Catholic Church and the global Christian community on the passing of His Holiness, Pope Francis, the esteemed leader of the Catholic Church. Pope Francis was a spiritual figure whose influence extended beyond the pulpit into various aspects of humanity. He championed peace, justice, and equality on a global scale. His death, occurring just a day after delivering his Easter sermon, exemplifies his unwavering dedication to service and his commitment to faith. Even during challenging times, he remained steadfast in his beliefs and his mission to promote peace, justice, and love worldwide. As we contemplate the void left by his absence, may his legacy of faith, dedication, and service to God continue to motivate us all.
