Calgary police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run incident that resulted in injuries to a pedestrian.
The incident occurred at 10 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2025, while the victim was walking eastbound in an alley located in the 100 block of Rivercrest Circle S.E.
Authorities report that a four-door sedan traveling west struck the pedestrian without stopping to render aid.
The victim managed to call for assistance and was subsequently transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
In a news release issued on Monday, police stated, "After exhausting all investigative leads to identify the suspect and locate the vehicle, we are appealing to the public for help in furthering the investigation."
The vehicle involved is described as a white Volkswagen.
