The issue of immigration was notably absent from the English-language debate held on Thursday night.
On October 24, the Trudeau Liberals presented an Immigration Levels Plan, as reported by Blacklock's Reporter, which proposes to reduce the annual quotas for new permanent residents from 471,550 to 395,000 in 2025, 380,000 in 2026, and 365,000 in 2027.
