The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are seeking assistance from the public in identifying individuals responsible for vandalizing election signs in and around Sundre.

The Sundre RCMP has received several reports of mischief involving signs for the NDP federal election candidate between April 9 and April 11.
According to a statement released on the afternoon of April 11, "The acts of mischief include the spray painting of discriminatory slurs."
"Vandalizing or stealing an election sign is considered a criminal offense. Furthermore, crimes motivated by hate or bias may lead to more severe penalties during sentencing."
