Following an autopsy conducted today, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner regarding the death of a man in the northwest community of Carrington, the cause of death remains undetermined, and the individual has not yet been identified.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, law enforcement was summoned to a residence in the 200 block of Carrington Crescent N.W. due to reports of a break-in. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a deceased male.
It is believed that the deceased may have unlawfully entered the home; however, the motive for his entry is still unclear.
Both the police and the Medical Examiner's office have been unable to ascertain the man's identity. The cause of death remains undetermined, and the investigation is ongoing. We are releasing images of the man captured on CCTV prior to his death, along with photographs of his tattoos, in hopes that someone in the public may recognize him and assist in notifying his next of kin.
