She provided encouragement and support as participants walked through the night in memory of loved ones affected by cancer while raising essential funds for cancer research, prevention, and care.

Among the participants was our esteemed colleague from Government House, Troy, who impressively completed 250 laps (100 km!). It was an honor to walk briefly alongside him and many others who demonstrated deep compassion, kindness, and determination with every step they took.

For 26 years, the Relay For Life ACT community has made remarkable contributions to Cancer Council ACT. This year, they raised over $270,000. A heartfelt congratulations and thank you to Verity Hawkins, Chief Executive Officer of Cancer Council ACT, and to everyone who participated and showed their commitment to the fight against cancer.
