Canadian Member of Parliament, Charlie Angus, stated, "I urge Canadians to refrain from traveling to the United States whenever possible, and I call upon our government to advocate for our citizens who are currently facing violations of their rights due to arbitrary detention in the United States. Canada must defend its citizens and uphold the rule of law."
