At his request, I met with Prime Minister Mark Carney today for a candid discussion. I emphasized that Albertans can no longer accept the treatment we've received from the federal Liberals over the last decade. I presented a detailed list of demands that the next Prime Minister—regardless of who that might be—must address within their first six months to prevent an unparalleled crisis in national unity.

These demands include: - Ensuring Alberta has full access to oil and gas corridors to the north, east, and west - Repealing Bill C-69, often referred to as the "no new pipelines act" - Lifting the tanker ban on the BC coast - Removing the oil and gas emissions cap, which functions as a production limit - Abolishing the so-called Clean Electricity Regulations - Ending the ban on single-use plastics - Suspending the net-zero vehicle mandate - Returning the authority to manage the industrial carbon tax to the provinces - Stopping federal censorship of energy companies I also stressed that Alberta, as the owner of the resources, will not accept an export tax or any limitations on our oil and gas exports to the United States. Furthermore, our province will no longer tolerate subsidizing larger provinces that can support themselves. Lastly, I highlighted that the federal government's poor management of Jasper and Banff national parks contributed to last year's devastating wildfire in Jasper and poses a threat to Banff, which must be addressed immediately. With a federal election on the horizon, I encourage all Albertans to engage in what could be one of the most crucial elections in our nation's history. Support candidates and parties that have consistently fought to liberate Alberta from federal overreach and the repeated economic challenges imposed by Ottawa over the past decade.
