While Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is based in Calgary, Liberal Leader Mark Carney has his roots in Edmonton. Both leaders appear to be embracing their Western Canadian heritage, but is this approach effective? Furthermore, if the next prime minister originates from our province, what implications might that have?
