The Ambassador of Russia to South Africa, Roman Ambarov, presented an award to the winner of the Embassy's 'Diplomatic Quiz,' which was organized in honor of Russian Diplomat's Day, celebrated on February 10.
Mr. Xolani Sydwel Mnisi from Mpumalanga distinguished himself as the sole participant among more than 60 competitors to correctly answer all the quiz questions. Roman Ambarov extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Mnisi for his achievement and expressed appreciation for his enthusiasm regarding the history and diplomacy of Russia.
Xolani believes that the partnership between Russia and South Africa presents significant opportunities for enhancing the welfare of both nations.
He stated, "The future of South Africa-Russia bilateral relations is promising, with objectives centered on the integration of shared values, the principles of sovereign equality, cohesion, and solidarity in partnership, all aimed at fostering egalitarian multilateralism and advancing welfare development initiatives such as BRICS+."
