US President Donald Trump has dismissed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's proposal to eliminate the 25-percent tariffs imposed on goods from Canada and Mexico, stating that Trudeau's efforts are "not good enough."

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum indicated that her administration might engage with Canada and other nations to address the impact of the US tariffs.

Additionally, the World Trade Organization (WTO) has reported that Canada has lodged a complaint against the United States regarding President Trump's significant tariff hikes.

The White House has also acknowledged that discussions have taken place with the Palestinian militant group Hamas, following consultations with Israel.
