Government response
Global News contacted the office of the Alberta Health Minister for answers. Alberta Health told us it is "investigating this issue."
"We want to ensure Netcare is a safe, user-friendly service that meets the needs of all Albertans," it said in a statement.
Jaime is happy to have her account restored, adding that she was afraid to access health services, including emergency services, with the previous "deceased" designation.
He said he didn't know if he could get help or if he would have to pay for it.
