First Lady Remi On Monday, February 24, 2025, the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, was welcomed at the Kaduna State government house along with the vice president's wife, Hajia Nana Shetima, Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, and other dignitaries. The visit lasted two days. In order to tackle HIV/AIDS and other health issues, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has called for a concerted effort to raise awareness among women, youth, and the general public about the disease's prevalence. Speaking on Monday while visiting the Kaduna State Government House, where Governor Uba Sani welcomed her and the necessity of cooperation between government institutions, traditional authority, and religious entities was emphasized by the First Lady, his deputy, members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, traditional rulers, and religious leaders. "There is a lot of work to be done, especially in sensitizing our people about the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in the country," the First Lady stated in a statement released by her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi.
