According to authorities, a body was discovered during a forest search for a runner who vanished five days ago. Just after 15:00 GMT on Tuesday, 23-year-old Jenny Hall was last observed leaving her residence at Barracks Farm, Tow Law, County Durham. On Wednesday, her red Ford Focus was discovered parked on the B6278 between Eggleston and Stanhope. A "very remote area of Teesdale" is where Durham Police reported finding Ms. Hall's body On Sunday, just after 9:30 GMT. Although Ms. Hall's family has been notified, formal identification has not yet occurred. According to the force, a file was being created for the coroner and her death was not being treated as suspicious. Since Tuesday, mountain rescue crews have been looking for Ms. Hall. Together with the police, the Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team spearheaded the search, covering 60 miles (97 km) of trails and tracks by Friday. More than 60 volunteers participated on Saturday, along with seven drones, ten mountain rescue dogs, and more than a dozen members of the mountain rescue team.
