The EFCC bolsters global anti-corruption efforts while returning more than $132K and ₦78M to victims of fraud abroad. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered and given $132,362.43 and ₦78,566,324.81 to fraud victims from the US, Spain, and Switzerland, respectively, as a clear indication of Nigeria's dedication to combating financial crimes.

The official handover took place at the EFCC offices in Abuja, led by Executive Chairman Ola Olukoyede, who reaffirmed Nigeria's adherence to justice, good governance, and international cooperation in combating financial crimes. Dissection of Recovered Property: 
✅ Spain The Spanish Embassy received ₦30 million and $1,300 for victim Maria Del Rosario San Jose.
 ✅ Switzerland $100,011.43 obtained on behalf of victim Chantai Helene Lavancy. 
The United States $7,344 and ₦7.9 million, along with $4,470 worth of Bitcoin, were given to the FBI regarding Maria Jesus Brockell, the victim. Luxurious possessions: The Mercedes E550 4Matic.
 The Mercedes C450 AMG Kaduna residential bungalow $7,527 for Michael Smith, the victim. $11,710 for victim Cheryle Williams. ₦32.6 million for victim Marva Marrow. Global Recognition for EFCC's Anti-Fraud Efforts 🌪🇸 Maria Higon Velasco, Spain's Acting Ambassador, conveyed her sincere gratitude while highlighting the close cooperation between the two countries. 
🌺🌸 FBI Legal Attaché Charles Smith commended the EFCC's efforts, pointing out that these compensations give victims justice and closure and strengthen the agency's position as a global leader in the fight against financial crime.
