40 alleged illegal immigrants have been arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Oyo State Command, at different sites inside the Akinyele Local Government Area.Tayo Dada, the NIS Comptroller for Oyo State, stated that the arrests were carried out in response to reliable intelligence.According to profiling, two of the people are Ghanaian, ten are Beninese, one is Togolese, and 27 are Cameroonian. Of them, eight are female and thirty-two are male, and they range in age from eighteen to thirty-five.Subsequent inquiries revealed that 30 of the people arrested claimed to be active in internet marketing, while 10 of them are farmers.Since they had entered the nation illegally, none of them had proper residency permits or travel documents.According to Dada, Kemi Nanna, the Comptroller General of Immigration, the appropriate actions to return the foreigners to their various countries have been ordered by Kemi Nanna Nandap.
