Senegal Starts Refining Oil Domestically for the First Time.

A new oil manufacturer The business behind it said on Thursday that Senegal had started manufacturing a variety of fuels at its own refinery close to the city, Dakar. According to the company, since Saturday, they have refined 650,000 barrels of crude oil, producing 90,000 tonnes of different products, such as butane gas, kerosene, diesel, and gasoline. In June, Senegal started to produce oil in the Sangomar oil field, which is run by the Australian company Woodside Energy.
