Seven people have been charged, including a 15-year-old boy, after an armed carjacking in Brampton involving a high-end luxury vehicle.

It is reported that shortly after midnight on February 6, the victim was returning to his vehicle, which was parked in the area of Queen Street East and Highway 50 in Brampton, when several suspects approached the victim and demanded his keys at gunpoint.
Investigators traced the stolen vehicle to Toronto, where police observed it being loaded onto a transport truck. The suspects attempted to flee, but several were arrested. Police also recovered the stolen luxury car, as well as another stolen car, a replica firearm and a large amount of cash.
The men have been identified as Pherel Esprit, 20, of Brampton; Amine Benhadjoudja, 23, of Woodbridge; and Malike Jones, 20, also of Brampton. Three youths, ages 17 and 15, were also arrested. A seventh suspect, Prabjot Singh, 33, of Brampton, was arrested and also charged.
