Canada is a major manufacturer of fentanyl. In December 2024, the largest fentanyl bust in Mexico occurred in Sinaloa, with around 20 million fentanyl doses found on the premises. In October 2024, the largest fentanyl bust in Canada occurred in Falkland, British Columbia, with approximately 95 million fentanyl doses found.
